Collaboration is the core of our organization. Our projects are completed in collaboration with a large network of humanitarian organizations, governments, corporations, individual donors and volunteers.
IMEC has worked with more than 70 different Project Shepherds over the last 16 years, including Project HOPE, Doctors Without Borders, ADRA, Rotary International and local Rotary clubs worldwide, IRD, Partners in Health and World Vision.
A Project Shepherd is an established humanitarian group, organization or individual that "shepherds" the project from beginning to end. A Project Shepherd is established in-country and can identify the facility in need, connect us to the facility for an assessment and obtain customs clearances.
The Project Shepherd works closely with an IMEC Project Coordinator throughout the entire project process. Examples of Project Shepherds include Rotary clubs, faith-based groups, humanitarian organizations, Ministries of Health, family foundations, philanthropists and international corporations.
Project Sponsors provide the funding needed to make a deserving project a reality. Corporations, faith-based groups, foundations, individuals and others sponsor IMEC projects around the world. Please contact or call to find out more about current project sponsorship opportunities.
Corporations and businesses with a commitment to global health, agriculture, education and the environment align themselves with IMEC and our network. There are a variety of creative corporate sponsorship opportunities available with IMEC.
