IMEC works in collaboration with sponsoring partners ("Shepherds") to serve communities all around the world ("Recipients"). Please contact us with your project needs. IMEC can be your equipment and logistics resource.
IMEC makes project implementation fast, efficient and effective. Projects can get off the ground at the earliest possible time, allowing the focus to stay on the mission and scope. We understand the needs and requirements of government contractors and grant recipients, and will work with you throughout the supply and logistics phase of your project.
IMEC is a USAID PVO, and is registered in SAM. IMEC is a member of the UN Global Compact and The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health. IMEC has a twenty year history of collaboration with partners at all levels, from individual healthcare facilities and schools, to USAID, Ministries of Health, Rotary Clubs, Non-governmental, faith-based, civil society and private organizations.
IMEC provides equipment solutions in collaboration with implementing partners for Health Care Facilities, Education programs, TVET and Agriculture/Farm projects in developing countries. IMEC has a uniquely efficient and effective process for providing equipment, via the creation of fully functional equipment "Suites". Each Suite contains all of the equipment, tools and supplies needed to operate a service or department, allowing the facility to be functional upon unpacking.
No one can transform healthcare systems, schools, farms, or communities alone. IMEC is predicated on the principle of collaboration, and our model has been based on this partnership model from the beginning.
IMEC works with Implementing Partners, but also coordinates with in-country partners for every project. This has been integral to ensuring that the equipment and supplies sent to the recipient community is actually what is needed, as determined in close coordination with the in-country medical staff, project implementers, construction team, and our own highly experienced advisors. IMEC works with all appropriate in-country stakeholders, and prior to preparation or shipping will coordinate facility readiness, port and ground in-country transportation.
IMEC can offer numerous logistics and supply benefits to any humanitarian project requiring equipment and support, as our model has been both unique and highly successful over the years. Waste and inefficiency at the project level can be greatly reduced by careful site evaluation and stakeholder agreement prior to packing and shipping. Every project (health, education or family farm) is made more efficient and can begin at the earliest possible point when all the functionally appropriate equipment arrives intact, together, ready for use, able to carry out project goals upon arrival. IMEC holds to this standard for the smallest rural clinic or school as well as the largest 300 bed teaching hospital.
