Individual Volunteering

Here at IMEC the opportunity to be a part of our team is an experience unlike most. We find gratification in our daily work which entails the privilege of enriching the lives of others. We are looking for individuals to join our team who are positive, motivated, and work well independently. By committing ongoing support through several volunteer opportunities you can become a vital asset to the lives we touch around the world.

Opportunities

Medical Equipment Testing- IMEC collects over 1 million pounds of medical equipment each year. Use your mechanical and/or engineering skills to test, repair, and prepare biomedical equipment.

Content Creation- Help us take feedback from the communities we serve and share their stories. Use your creative writing and editorial skills to give a voice to the poorest among us.

Woodshop and Woodworking- Use your carpentry and woodworking skills to build student desks, and furnishings for hospitals and clinics.

Outreach and Procurement- The IMEC Global Green program was launched in 2011 to increase our surplus donation footprint with hospitals and manufacturers in the US. Use your communication and interpersonal skills to help us develop and cultivate new surplus donation relationships.

Volunteer Coordination- Use your hospitality and organizational skills to setup volunteer groups for Days of Transformation.
